Talk 1: Why containers is the competitive advantage your business needs (William Jimenez, Solutions Architect @ Rancher Labs).
In this talk we’ll look at three reasons why containers will change the way your business develops software for the better, allowing you to move faster and more reliably than before.

Lightning talk: Docker Service Discovery with DNS, using Registrator, Consul and Rancher (Julian Gamble @ BT Financial Group)
Having a cluster of Rancher hosts can intimidate users with strange IP addresses and ports. This talk will look at nice looking URLs for those containers running somewhere in your cluster.

Talk 2: Inclusive monitoring of a microservice architecture with Rancher and the Prometheus ecosystem – (Martin Baillie @ IAG)
In this talk and demo, we will look at how you can use the Prometheus ecosystem to monitor, alert, graph and forecast on the internal state of a microservice architecture.  We’ll focus on how you can scale this solution out as your platform grows using techniques like zero-conf discoverability and telemetry, and also how you can better encourage an inclusive monitoring culture within your engineering teams.
