Recording: Plug-and-Play Container Storage and Networking in Rancher Environments – September 2016 Online Meetup
In our September meetup we discussed Rancher’s new plugable architecture for deploying networking and storage frameworks across environments, which is being released later as part of Rancher 1.2. Specifically, Darren Shepherd demonstrated:
Rancher’s new infrastructure services catalog
Support for industry-standard container storage plugin frameworks, like Docker VolumeDriver and Kubernetes FlexVolume
New Amazon EBS and EFS persistent storage driver
How different storage services work with Kubernetes, Mesos and Swarm.
As always, we demonstrated all this live, and have made a recording available below, as well as the slides from the meetup. In our October 2016 meetup we’ll be continuing the infrastructure services discussion, but focusing on networking.
Join us for free online training courses, hosted monthly by a Rancher technical expert. We provide a great hands-on overview for new users setting up a Rancher deployment, and answer any and all questions you have about Rancher and how to integrate it into your DevOps processes!
