The Job

The Sr. Manager - Global Demand Generation will be responsible for Rancher’s global demand generation strategy, plan and execution. We are looking for a results-oriented, data-driven leader with proven expertise in leveraging multiple channels including direct mail, paid search, display, content syndication, retargeting, account-based marketing, events, social, and other tactics, to drive brand amplification and lead generation efforts at scale. This is an opportunity to build a demand generation function for a hyper growth company. Candidates should be equally adept at strategy and planning, as well as hands-on execution. The position will be based in our Cupertino, CA office.


  • Define and manage Rancher’s global demand generation strategy, plan, execution, and metrics.
  • Plan and drive email marketing, nurture campaigns, account-based marketing programs, content syndication, online training, online meetups, paid social and other marketing programs and channels that drive revenue.
  • Partner closely with Field Marketing teams to meet and exceed pipeline targets for each geo.
  • Own full campaign project management and program execution including timelines, return on investment, as well as make proposed changes and improvements to campaigns.
  • Build integrated plans by partnering with other functions (web marketing, social media, product marketing, field marketing and marketing operations).
  • Manage diverse work streams, including creative development, website updates, template maintenance, and communications with internal and external partners.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive research to help inform strategies. Keep current with latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and demand generation.


  • 7+ years enterprise demand generation experience in B2B tech companies leveraging events and digital channels to drive lead generation and brand amplification.

  • Demonstrated success creating and executing global, multichannel programs leveraging content syndication, paid search, display advertising and media, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.

  • Ability to think strategically, continually innovate, and orchestrate multiple campaigns simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams. Can clearly articulate ideas, frame problems and offer solutions.

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, business, communications or related discipline.

  • Expert level proficiency in HubSpot (or another marketing automation platform), Salesforce, TechTarget’s Priority Engine (or a different Account Based Marketing tool), and Microsoft Office.
